Wagoneer vs. Lincoln Navigator

  • Performance. The new Wagoneer gets its power from an impressive, standard 5.7-liter V8 engine. This powertrain gives Newport, NH and Hanover, NH drivers 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. But the Lincoln SUV, on the other hand, comes with a base V6 engine. Plus, the Wagoneer has a unique eTorque mild hybrid system built-in, making it smooth and efficient, while the Navigator doesn't have anything similar in its collection.
  • Off-road capability. Prefer your Springfield, VT adventures a little off the beaten path? The Wagoneer hails from the same genius engineers who bring us the popular and beloved SUVs from Jeep, renowned for their off-road prowess and performance. With available four-wheel drive, the Wagoneer promises to deliver this adventurous spirit that you crave, with high-end luxury. But the Lincoln Navigator is not meant for trail riding or anything rough. It has available all-wheel drive, as opposed to four-wheel drive, and it doesn't have the same performance tweaks that the Wagoneer gets from its pedigree and background as a Jeep brand SUV.
  • Passenger space and comfort. While the Wagoneer has a seating capacity for up to eight people, the Lincoln Navigator can accommodate just seven. Plus, the Wagoneer interior is also more comfortable, with more room to stretch out in. Look for extra inches of headroom, shoulder room, and backseat legroom for the Wagoneer in comparison to the Lincoln.

Wagoneer vs. Cadillac Escalade

  • Interior comfort and space. Like the Lincoln comparison before this, the Cadillac Escalade also doesn't compare with the versatility, luxury, and comfort of the new Wagoneer. While the Escalade seats a maximum of seven people, the Wagoneer has room for eight. Additionally, the Wagoneer gets more shoulder room and elbow room throughout the vehicle, and it has extra inches of headroom and legroom for your backseat passengers.
  • Cargo space. Both SUVs have room for cargo behind their third rows, with additional space available by folding the backseats. But the Wagoneer has more room for your gear standard, with a cargo hold that accommodates 27.4 cubic feet, compared to just 25.5 cubic feet of space available in the Escalade.
  • Starting price. The Wagoneer has more room for passengers, and more room for cargo, and it has a nearly identical roster of standard and optional features as the Cadillac Escalade. But it is more accessible to a wider variety of budgets than the Cadillac. You can get all the luxury and power you want with the Wagoneer, starting at around $67,900. But the Cadillac starts at around $76,100, and you don't get anything extra or more special for that added amount.
