The package includes BFGoodrich 35-inch All-Terrain tires, wrapped around beadlock-capable 17-inch wheels. The package also includes a reinforced rear swing gate and a 4.56:1 axle ratio.
The Xtreme Recon package also includes a 1.5-inch suspension lift and specially tuned dampers. As a result, Wrangler models with the lift gain an approach angle of 47.2 degrees, a breakover angle of 32.4 degrees, and a departure angle of 12.6 inches. The package provides 12.6 inches of total ground clearance and the ability to ford in up to 34 inches of water.
